This is not a model of an aircraft but a detail accessory for the cockpit. It is a resin set of seats in 1:32 scale for the two-seat Yokosuka K5Y training biplane, whose Allied code name was Willow. The cast seats carry finer detail than plastic parts and fill both open cockpits fittingly.
The Yokosuka K5Y was the basic training biplane of the Imperial Japanese Navy; its conspicuous orange finish earned it the nickname red dragonfly. The open cockpits of a trainer are clearly visible, so faithful seats bring a large visual gain. The set is intended for K5Y models at this scale.
Wash the mold release agent off the seats, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Bring out the detail with washes and add the harness separately if you wish.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
