Barracuda Mk.II TFace (1:48) is a set of double-sided painting masks from Eduard for the glazing of a model of the British Fairey Barracuda carrier aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from Eduard contains precisely cut self-adhesive masks of thin kabuki (washi) paper in the TFace version. That means it masks the glazing from both sides, outside and inside, so that the frames of the canopy can be painted on the outer and the inner side and the cockpit interior gains a realistic look.
The Fairey Barracuda was a British carrier-borne torpedo and dive bomber of the Second World War, operated by the Fleet Air Arm. It was marked by its high-wing layout and by the extensive glazing of the canopy, which is particularly laborious to mask when building a model.
These are painting masks, an accessory, not a model. The paints and the model are not included in the package.
