Luftwaffe mechanic personnel 1940-45 No. 6 (1:32) is a Black Dog resin figure set with a member of the German aircraft ground personnel of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure set in 1:32 scale from the Czech brand Black Dog. It captures German aircraft ground personnel of the 1940 to 1945 period and serves to bring aviation dioramas with Luftwaffe models to life.
The mechanics and technicians of the Luftwaffe looked after the readiness of the aircraft between individual combat sorties, topped up fuel and ammunition, and maintained both engines and airframes. The figure helps to set a static model into a real situation on the airfield apron and gives the scene a human dimension.
Before building, wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove the mold release agent. Cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces lightly with your airways protected. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue, and gaps can be filled with putty. Once the base coat is on, work the figure up with acrylics or oils, concentrating on the overalls, the face and the equipment.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and the aircraft model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
