1:32 Mammoth Dump Truck (Mini 4WD) is a motorized Tamiya kit from the Wild Mini 4WD series. It goes together without glue and once two AA cells are fitted it sets off by itself.

An off-road dump truck from the Japanese Wild Mini 4WD series, which Tamiya lists as number 13. The manufacturer gives a length of 142 mm, a width of 125 mm and a height of 94 mm. The motor is part of the package and no glue is needed for the build, as the parts are held by snap-fit joints. The drive is to all four wheels: the motor lies in the middle of the chassis and through a sidewinder-type gear train it turns the front and rear axles.
The body does not copy any particular production machine; it is a freely conceived heavy dump truck with a tall cargo body. The body can be tipped, which makes the model a movable toy as well as a display piece. The tires, 52 mm in diameter and 31 mm wide, are described by the manufacturer as large-diameter, and with them the model manages to pull away on its rear wheels and to run on two wheels.
The parts are molded in distinct colors, so the model looks good even without paint. Anyone who wants more can degrease the plastic and spray it with a thin coat of acrylic; a thick coat would get in the way in the snap-fit joints. Keep the gears and shafts clean and do not apply paint to them. Put the stickers on last, on a dry and degreased surface.
The model is supplied unassembled; the plastic parts are colored but not painted. The motor is part of the package and no glue is needed for the build, while two AA cells and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
