Eduard 1:32 Me 262A is a color photo-etched set intended for detailing the cockpit and the interior of plastic models of the German Me 262A jet fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a photo-etched set (brass etched parts, some of them color printed) from the Czech maker Eduard, not a kit in its own right. The set serves to refine and sharpen the interior of models of the German Me 262A jet fighter in 1:32 scale markedly. It adds fine details that injection-molded plastic cannot capture and noticeably raises the fidelity of the finished model.
The Messerschmitt Me 262 was the first jet fighter in the world to be committed to operational service. It was powered by a pair of Junkers Jumo 004 jet engines and at the end of the Second World War it served with the Luftwaffe as a fighter as well as a fighter-bomber. The machine reached speeds of over 850 km/h, which put it in a class above the piston fighters of the time.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and bend them over a metal ruler or in a bender. Use cyanoacrylate glue for gluing; on larger areas a glue with a longer open time can help. The color-printed parts are not overcoated, they are simply fitted into the interior with care.
This is an accessory detail set, not an airplane model. The base kit, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
