Art Scale 1:32 Messerschmitt Bf 109E-4 and E-7, single-sided masks is a set of pre-cut masks for spraying the canopy framing from the outside. It is not a kit but an accessory for a build.

The set contains masks cut to the outline of the clear parts of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 model in the E-4 and E-7 versions, in 1:32 scale. It is an aid for painting, not a model. The single-sided designation means that the set is intended for masking from the outside; if you want the framing sprayed in the interior color from inside the cockpit as well, look for the double-sided variant of the same set. The angular divided canopy of the E series has a great many straight frames and trimming them from tape by hand is tedious; here it is enough to lift the masks off the sheet and stick them on.
The real subject
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 E series was a single-engine fighter with a liquid-cooled Daimler-Benz DB 601 engine and direct fuel injection. The E-4 version had a modified canopy and changed wing armament, and on the E-7 version a pylon was added under the fuselage for a drop tank or a bomb. Outwardly the two versions differ only in details, which is why the masking set covers them together.
Wash and degrease the clear part, otherwise the mask will not hold. Lift the masks off the sheet with a sharp point or tweezers and seat them so that the edge lines up with the frame; work the pressure from the center toward the edges. Go over the edges once more with a toothpick. Spray in thin coats and preferably in several passes; a heavy application peels when the mask is lifted. Lift the mask once the paint has dried, while it is not yet fully cured, and remove any glue residue with a mild product that will not attack clear plastic.
It is a masking accessory for a build, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
