This set from Quickboost (made by Aires) contains cast resin covers for the intakes and sensors with the characteristic red Remove Before Flight tags, which are left on an aircraft until takeoff. It is intended for MiG-21 models in 1:32 scale.
Protective covers give a model standing on the ramp the authentic look of a machine parked before a flight. It is not an airplane kit but a detail accessory that brings a presentation on a stand or in a diorama to life.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent and cut them carefully from the casting blocks. Paint the covers with an airbrush and pick the tags out in a deep red; a dry brush will bring up the fine lettering and edging. The covers can simply be placed on the model, or fixed at a few spots with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
The set contains cast parts. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
