This sheet of waterslide decals from the Polish manufacturer Techmod covers MiG-29 fighter aircraft in the A and G versions and the two-seat UB trainer version, in 1:32. It is not a kit or a model: it is an accessory for a model already built, which widens the choice of finishes beyond the contents of the box.
The MiG-29 is a twin-engine supersonic fighter aircraft of Soviet design of the 1980s, laid out to win air superiority over a battlefield. Its characteristic features are two vertical tail surfaces, blended transitions of the wing into the fuselage and closable air intakes, which protect the engines while taxiing on an unpaved surface. The A version is the basic single-seat fighter variant, and the UB is the two-seat trainer form with a second cockpit. The designation G was carried by machines taken over and reworked by the Luftwaffe after the unification of Germany; they served until the beginning of the 2000s and some of them then passed to Poland.
Apply the decals onto a gloss coat that is completely dry. Cut the motif out as close as possible, immerse it for a few seconds in lukewarm water, let it rest and slide it onto a dampened spot. The fine technical lettering is better carried over in smaller groups so that the film does not wrinkle. Over engraved panel lines use a decal softener. Finish the model with a semi-gloss or satin coat, which matches machines in service better than a deep matte.
This is a separate accessory. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
