Quickboost 1:32 air intake covers (FOD covers) - Mirage 2000

This is a resin detail set, not a kit. It contains protective covers of the air intakes (so-called FOD covers, protecting the engine from the entry of foreign objects), which are fitted to real aircraft when parked on the ground. A model of the French Mirage 2000 fighter aircraft in 1:32 scale comes across with them as a faithfully appointed machine on the apron and gains the interesting detail of an aircraft prepared on the apron.

Use and fitting

• Wash the parts free of remnants of mold release agent and separate them from the casting blocks.
• Fit the covers onto the air intakes of the model.
• Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
• The covers are usually painted strikingly (often red) with warning lettering for the ground personnel.

The accessory is supplied unpainted and without glue. It is not a model of an aircraft but a detail set.
