A set of painting masks for the Mirage III E/R in 1:32 scale from Eduard. They serve for accurate masking of the glazing and other surfaces during painting; the model itself is obtained separately.
Responsibility details are not available.
Eduard painting masks for the Mirage III supersonic aircraft in the E and R versions in 1:32 scale. The masks are cut from kabuki (washi) tape, follow the canopy framing and other surfaces exactly, hold well, leave no adhesive residue once removed and can be reused if handled carefully.
The Mirage III is a French supersonic combat aircraft with a characteristic delta wing, which became one of the most successful export machines of its era. The E version was a multirole fighter and ground-attack aircraft, while the R version served for reconnaissance. The aircraft was used by a number of air forces around the world and proved itself in combat in several conflicts.
Stick the masks onto a clean, degreased surface, do not stretch them, and press the edges down with a wooden stick or a toothpick, so that paint cannot run under an edge. Spraying with an airbrush in thin coats is ideal. Take the masks off while the paint has only just dried. Besides the glazing, they also suit masking crisp transitions in the finish as per the instructions.
Masks are not a model. This is a set of masking tapes for the given type; the kit itself, the paints and the glue have to be obtained separately.
