1:32 Mirage III E/RD/O is a 3D textured interior set on decal paper for the cockpit of the French delta-wing fighter in 1:32 scale. Intended for the Revell kit.

This is not a kit. In this range Red Fox Studio prints instrument panels and interior elements with a 3D texture onto decal paper — you get dials, switches and lettering complete in color, which are applied to the model as a wet decal. That spares you both painting individual instruments and gluing tiny photo-etched parts. The set is intended for the Revell kit.
The Mirage III belongs to the era when the panel was still purely analog but already heavily loaded. The space for the display of the onboard radar dominates the center, round dials of the flight and engine instruments crowd around it, and on both sides the side consoles run back with the controls for the weapon systems, radio navigation and fuel. The cockpit is tall and narrow, with an ejection seat and a harness routed over the shoulders. Under the bubble canopy the whole area around the panel is visible in this scale, so there is no point in skimping on the side consoles.
The panel and consoles of the Mirage are not flat plates, so the decal has to be shaped. Once it is slid into place, press the element gently with a damp cotton swab or a soft brush from the center toward the edges, so that the air is forced out and the paper settles into the curves. Never press it dry — a dry decal will crack. If an air bubble persists, pierce it with the tip of a scalpel and press again. With the consoles it helps to cut a long element into two shorter parts and apply them separately.
The set is an accessory to a plastic kit, not a model. Paints, glue and varnishes are not included in the package. Check that it matches your kit before ordering.
