Eduard 1:32 Mosquito FB Mk. VI exterior is a photo-etched detail set from Eduard for refining the outer surfaces of the fighter-bomber version of the de Havilland Mosquito.
Responsibility details are not available.
This photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:32 scale adds fine metal detail to the outer surface of the fighter-bomber version of the de Havilland Mosquito FB Mk. VI. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for a kit. The exterior photo-etched parts refine the panels, covers and small elements of the skin beyond what the plastic tooling can do.
The de Havilland Mosquito was a British twin-engine multirole aircraft of the Second World War with a largely wooden structure. The FB Mk. VI version was the fighter-bomber form with fixed armament, able to attack ground and air targets alike and to carry bombs or rockets. In the large 1:32 scale even the small exterior details that the photo-etched set completes come into their own.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and make the bends on a bending tool. Bond the metal with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and go over it with a primer for metal before painting. Seat the fine exterior parts so that they follow the surface of the skin, and try the work dry beforehand.
This is an accessory photo-etched set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
