Eduard 1:32 Mosquito Mk. IV exterior and engines is a photo-etched detail set from Eduard for refining the outer surfaces and the engine nacelles of the bomber version of the de Havilland Mosquito.
Responsibility details are not available.
This photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:32 scale adds fine metal detail to the outer surface and the engine sections of the bomber version of the de Havilland Mosquito Mk. IV. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for a kit. The etched parts sharpen panels, covers and the features of the engine nacelles beyond what the plastic mold can give.
The de Havilland Mosquito was a British twin-engine multirole aircraft of the Second World War with a largely wooden structure, which made it fast and light. The Mk. IV bomber version served for fast and accurate raids. A pair of Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engines drove the propellers in streamlined nacelles, and it is their detail that the photo-etched set completes.
Separate the etched parts with a sharp knife and make the bends on a bender. Bond the metal with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and coat it with a primer for metal before painting. Seat the exterior and engine parts so that they follow the line of the skin, and try the assembly dry beforehand.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
