Eduard Brassin Mosquito Mk.VI exhausts 1:32 is a resin detail accessory for models of the de Havilland Mosquito FB Mk.VI fighter-bomber. It replaces the plastic exhaust stacks with faithful castings.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set from the Brassin line by Eduard in 1:32 scale. It is not a model, but a detail accessory. It replaces the plastic engine exhaust stacks with faithful castings with open ends and a fine surface. It is intended for models of the de Havilland Mosquito FB Mk.VI fighter-bomber.
The exhausts of the Merlins are clearly visible along the sides of the engine nacelles on the Mosquito. The resin castings have realistically hollowed stack ends, which is hard to achieve in injection-molded plastic. Once painted with a burnt and rusted effect, they markedly lift the impression of the whole powerplant.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks carefully and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). For painting, use dark metallic shades complemented by pigments and a hint of burning toward the stack mouths.
This is a detail accessory, not a model in its own right. It calls for a matching base kit. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
