The L-39 Albatros is a jet trainer of Czechoslovak production, on which whole generations of pilots went through their training at home and abroad. It is among the most widespread training machines of its day and its shape is recognized even by someone who does not go into aviation deeply. It is precisely its motif that this sticker carries.
The sticker is black and measures 15 cm. It is an item in its own right, not a decal and not a masking template for a model, so it goes with no kit and has nothing to do with the scale of a model. It suits everywhere you want to make clear what you are a fan of: on glass, on a laptop lid, on a tool case, on a cabinet door or on the box with a part-built model.
The surface has to be smooth, dry, clean and degreased, or the sticker will hold badly along the edges. Try the position dry beforehand and mark the place lightly, because once it is pressed down the sticker usually cannot be moved. Stick it on by stages from one edge and run the pressure from the center outward, so that no air bubbles are left under it. Push the surplus air out with a soft squeegee or the pad of a finger. The sticker does not suit coarse, greasy and strongly textured surfaces. Suitability for outdoor use and resistance to water and sun are stated by the maker.
