This is a transparent accessory, not a kit and not a decal. The part is vacuum-formed from clear film and serves as a replacement for the glazing of a plastic kit of the Soviet four-engine Pe-8 heavy bomber in 1:72 scale.
A four-engine bomber has glazing far larger and more intricate than a fighter: the pilot's canopy, the nose section and the other glazed positions make up a large visible area. It is precisely on such areas that the thickness of a molded part shows most - the edges look like aquarium glass and distort the view inside. Vacuum-formed material is thinner and optically cleaner, so a large glazed area looks convincing and it is worth detailing the interior behind it. The exact extent of the package, that is which particular glazed parts are included, is stated by the manufacturer on the packaging.
With large parts it pays to work slowly. Mark the outline with a spirit marker, run the cut with repeated light passes of a scalpel and only then separate the part; a single heavy pass will crack the vacuum-formed film. For stiffness you can temporarily fill the inside with water-soluble filler, which washes out after cutting. Sand the mating edges on paper laid on a flat board and keep testing them against the fuselage. The frames are best suggested with narrow strips of masking tape, or with frame decals if you have them. Glue with a PVA cement for canopies that does not fog, and paint only thinly.
