Eduard N1K2-J Shiden Kai 1:32 is a set of painting masks from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for precise masking of the glazing and the clear parts of a model of the Japanese N1K2-J Shiden Kai fighter in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely die-cut painting masks from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:32 scale for the Japanese Kawanishi N1K2-J Shiden Kai fighter. The masks, made of a fine masking material (kabuki paper), follow the shape of the canopy frames exactly. They are stuck onto the model, oversprayed with paint and taken off once dry, so that the frames stay cleanly outlined. This is an accessory for a plastic model, not a stand-alone model — the kit has to be bought separately.
The Kawanishi N1K2-J Shiden Kai (Allied code name George) was a land-based fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy from the end of the Second World War. It came about by reworking an earlier type in order to simplify production and improve handling, and it was powered by a strong radial engine. It ranked among the best Japanese fighters of the closing months of the war and was a feared opponent of Allied aircraft.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model of the aircraft. The kit itself, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
