A US Air Force pilot figure from the Vietnam War era in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
An aircraft model on its own gives the viewer no sense of scale. Only once a human figure stands beside it does it become clear how big the machine is and how high the cockpit sits above the ground. In 1:32 scale a figure of a man of about 175 centimeters stands roughly five and a half centimeters tall, so even the posture and the folds of the clothing are visible on it.
The figure represents a US Air Force pilot from the time of the Vietnam War. It works with models of the machines that flew in that conflict, both in a display case beside the aircraft and in a diorama with airfield equipment and support. It also serves well wherever you want to liven up a static arrangement: a human figure gives the scene the action that the machine alone lacks.
Wash and degrease the figure before painting; the paint then holds far better. Lay down a primer and build the shades only on top of it. On the face and hands work from a darker tone toward a lighter one, pick out the raised detail with a dry brush and deepen the recesses with a darker glaze. A matte varnish finally unifies the whole, and the differing sheen of the individual paints disappears under it. The recommended glue and the assembly sequence are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The figure is what is supplied. Paints, brushes and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
