Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:32 scale is meant for a plastic model of the American Bell P-39 Airacobra fighter. It is not a kit or a model in its own right but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want sharp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage fields without laborious hand-cutting of tape.
The Bell P-39 Airacobra is an American fighter of the Second World War with an unusual layout, the engine set behind the pilot in the middle of the fuselage and the propeller driven by a long shaft. That made it possible to build a heavy cannon into the nose and to use a nose landing gear. The pilot boarded through glazed automotive-style side doors. The machine was widely used by Soviet pilots at low altitude.
Degrease the glazing of the side doors and of the windscreen. Lift the masks off the backing, lay them on the individual frames and press them into the edges, filling small cutouts with a strip of tape. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin layers. The wheel masks separate the tire from the rim. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at an acute angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
