Quinta Studio 1:32 P-40B Warhawk: a 3D interior decal is a colored 3D-printed set of cockpit detail on carrier decal paper for models of the P-40B Warhawk fighter; the features are not self-adhesive and are applied by soaking in water. Target kit: Trumpeter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This product is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory for superdetailing the cockpit. It holds colored 3D-printed interior detail on carrier decal paper, reproducing the instrument panel, the side consoles and other features of the pilot's space with three-dimensional relief and faithful color. It is neither conventional photo-etch nor cast resin; the interior thus gains a realistic look without slow painting. The decals are shaped to the parts of the Trumpeter kit.
The Curtiss P-40 was among the most widespread American fighters of the early part of the Second World War. The early P-40B variant became famous with the volunteer Flying Tigers group and in the fighting of the first months of the war. In the large 1:32 scale the broken-up detail of the cockpit comes out especially well.
The feature is cut out of the sheet, soaked for about 15 seconds in lukewarm water and slid off the carrier paper onto the plastic part. It has no adhesive layer of its own and holds on a layer of gloss varnish (Future, Klear, Tamiya X-22); in broken-up places a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as the chemicals attack the printed resin. Work with a sharp knife, tweezers and onto a degreased surface.
This is an accessory for a plastic model. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
