Eduard 1:32 P-51D-5 is a photo-etched detail set for refining the model of the American Mustang fighter. A photo-etched accessory; it is not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This Eduard photo-etched detail set serves to refine the plastic model of the P-51D-5 Mustang fighter in 1:32 scale. It holds fine photo-etched parts that complete or replace the plastic features of a kit. It is neither an aircraft model nor a kit; it is an accessory for the plastic kit of that machine.
The North American P-51D Mustang was an American single-seat fighter of the Second World War with great range, famous for escorting bombers over Europe. The D-5 sub-version was among the early production batches of the D version; these machines did not yet have the dorsal fin fillet known from the later batches.
The photo-etched parts are separated with a sharp knife, shaped over a bending tool and glued with super glue. Pre-colored features can be left unpainted; bare metal parts should be degreased and sprayed with a primer. The set is intended for more experienced modelers with an interest in high detail.
This is a photo-etched detailing accessory, not a model. The plastic kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
