A set of resin wheels for the P-51D Mustang fighter model in 1:32 scale, from the premium BRASSIN range by the Czech manufacturer Eduard of Obrnice near Most. It is a detail accessory that replaces the plastic wheels from the base kit, not a stand-alone aircraft model. Resin wheels tend to have a finer tread pattern and a more accurate tire and hub shape.
The P-51D Mustang was an American single-seat Second World War fighter, famous for its long range and its ability to escort bombers deep over enemy territory. The D version, with a bubble canopy and six machine guns, is among the most numerous and best-known variants of the type.
Before gluing, wash the resin parts to remove mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surface smooth. Glue the wheels with cyanoacrylate glue. The tires can be slightly flattened at the contact point for a weighted look. Masks for the hubs are often included for easy painting. When sanding resin, protect your airways.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
