Responsibility details are not available.
The set belongs to the line of figures of British fighter pilots from the period of 1940 to 1945 and carries the sequence number 5. An RAF pilot of that time is a rewarding subject: with the blue-gray of the service uniform went a leather flying helmet with goggles, often a leather jacket and across the chest a yellow inflatable life vest, which was nicknamed Mae West. It is exactly that which tends to be the most conspicuous element on a figure and gives the whole scene its color.
A single human figure by an aircraft does more for a display case than another accessory set. The viewer sees at once how large the subject really is, and the model stops coming across as a sculpture without scale. In 1:32 scale an adult man comes out at roughly five and a half centimeters, so a figure is large enough for the face and the small items of gear to be worked out on it.
The set is intended for building and painting with your own hands and is supplied unpainted. The paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
