Eduard 1:32 painting masks for the Spitfire Mk.VIII for the canopy glazing and the wheels. It is not a model but an accessory for painting; the model itself is obtained separately.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of shaped Eduard painting masks in 1:32 scale for a model of the British Supermarine Spitfire Mk.VIII fighter. The masks are cut from kabuki tape and mask the glazing frames of the canopy and usually the tires as well. This is an accessory for painting, not a kit; the aircraft model itself is not included and is obtained separately.
The Supermarine Spitfire was a British fighter of the Second World War with a characteristic elliptical wing. The Mk.VIII version was based on the airframe of the later versions with the Merlin engine and was fully equipped for service away from the home islands, in the Mediterranean and in the Pacific among other places. It ranked among the aerodynamically refined forms of the Spitfire.
Transfer the masks onto degreased glazing and press them carefully into the frames and into the rounded shape of the canopy. Spray thinned paint in thin coats, so that no heavy edge forms. Peel the masks off while the finish is fresh; kabuki tape follows the Spitfire's rounded canopy well.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model. The model itself, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
