A resin replacement part, not a model. This resin set from the Czech brand Quickboost (Aires) in 1:32 scale holds antennas for the Soviet Sukhoi Su-25K ground-attack aircraft and its two-seat trainer version, the Su-25UBK Frogfoot. They are easy-to-fit resin details that replace the thicker plastic parts from the box with more faithful, finer shapes. It is supplied unpainted and without an airplane model.
The Su-25 is a rugged ground-attack aircraft for close support of ground troops, and the UBK version is its two-seat combat trainer form. The small antennas on the fuselage and tail surfaces are among the details that plastic parts from the box often simplify or render too heavy. Precisely cast resin antennas have a finer profile and, once fitted, sharpen the distinctive silhouette of the machine.
Wash the parts free of mold release residue, carefully cut off the thin casting blocks and sand the mating surfaces gently with respiratory protection. Because they are small and fragile, work with tweezers and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a primer before painting; lay the color down to follow the surrounding camouflage and bring out the detail with a fine wash.
The part is supplied unpainted as a resin casting. Glue, paints and the airplane model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
