Masks for the Compass Ghost finish for the large Su-27 in 1:32 scale contain two sheets with the surface pattern for the single-seat version of the machine.

Two sheets of pre-cut masks are laid out according to the large single-seat Su-27 kit and cover the whole surface pattern of the newest Ukrainian finish. In 1:32 every imprecision carries double weight, so a ready stencil pays off more than measuring out from a drawing.
The design came about as an answer to the American heavy fighters: an aerodynamically lifting fuselage passes smoothly into the wing, the engines are far apart and the fuel capacity is enough for great distances even without external tanks. The result is a machine with long range and legendary agility at low speeds. After 1991 Ukraine inherited a considerable number of these aircraft, keeps them in operation to this day and is gradually changing their finishes.
Extensive areas call for even coverage, as otherwise streaks stand out. Thin the paint more and apply it in three or four thin passes. On the rounded transition of the wing and the fuselage press the stencil down with your fingers and go over the edge once more with a blunt tool. After removal it pays to unify the transitions with a light overspray of the base tone. No adhesive residue remains on the surface, so you need not fear for the finish under the stencil.
Only masks are enclosed, nothing else.
