1:32 Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IXc/Mk.IXe stencils

Spitfire Mk.IXc/Mk.IXe technical stencils 1:32 (Eduard)

This is a standalone sheet of waterslide decals with complete technical and service markings for models of the Supermarine Spitfire fighter in the Mk.IXc and Mk.IXe versions in 1:32 scale. It is not a kit or the main camouflage but an accessory that gives the surface of a model a realistic density of small legends. The sheet contains warning and maintenance legends, markings for filler points, access panels and other service texts.

The real subject

The Spitfire Mk.IX was among the most widespread and most successful variants of this British fighter of the Second World War; the Mk.IXc and Mk.IXe versions differed above all in their wing armament. The real machines carried dense technical stencils that kit decals often simplify.

Use

• Cut the decal out and soak it briefly in lukewarm water.
• Slide it onto a varnished surface and settle it with decal softener.
• Once dry, go over it with a matte or semi-gloss varnish to unify the surface.

Who it is for

• Modelers who want to raise the realism of the surface of a Spitfire.
• Builders of competition models who care about fine details.

This is a standalone sheet of decals, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
