A photo-etched detail set from the Czech brand Eduard in 1:32 scale. It is not a model but a set of fine photo-etched parts with which you replace the thick plastic flaps of the Hawker Tempest Mk.VI fighter model with a faithful, thin structure. Thanks to it the flaps can be shown convincingly in the lowered position.
The landing flaps are the movable high-lift surfaces on the trailing edge of the wing. The plastic parts from the box tend to be thick and molded with the flaps closed; this photo-etched set adds fine ribbing and detail, so the model looks realistic with the flaps lowered as on a parked aircraft.
Take the photo-etched parts out, form them on a photo-etch bending tool and fix the joints with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the surfaces before gluing; prime the fine elements and paint them with an airbrush.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
