A relief color 3D decal for a detailed rendering of the cockpit interior of the British Tornado GR.4 in 1:32 scale. The set is intended for the plastic kit from Italeri and besides the decal it also holds 3D-printed parts that fill in the three-dimensional elements of the cockpit. It is not a model nor a part of one, but a color decal detail that replaces laborious painting and photo-etched sets.
The Panavia Tornado GR.4 was the British strike and reconnaissance version of the two-seat Tornado combat aircraft with a variable-geometry wing. It was used for precision strikes against ground targets and stayed in Royal Air Force service into the 2010s. The crew cockpit of the pilot and the navigator is rich in instruments and panels.
The relief decal carries the color instrument panels, side consoles and details of both cockpits, and the enclosed 3D-printed parts add the three-dimensional elements. The decal is applied wet: the part is soaked, slid into place and left to dry. A decal softener does not belong in this work, as it would attack the printed resin.
This is an accessory for the kit named above, not a model in its own right. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
