The second variant of the same subject from Black Dog. It pays off above all where you want more than one spot with ammunition in a diorama and at the same time want to avoid both corners looking like copies of each other. The item is a standalone accessory for a finished model, not an aircraft kit, and the build needs nothing from the original box.
A stock of bombs on a field airfield was never tidy. Crates piled up according to how the deliveries arrived, empty ones were pushed aside, and single rounds waited ready for collection. It is exactly this irregularity that makes a scene believable. The SC 250 was a general-purpose high-explosive bomb and it served in German units from the first years of the war to its very end, so the accessory covers a wide span of time.
Set both versions at different distances from the aircraft and turn them differently toward the viewer. Give one crate lighter, fresher-looking wood and the other a more weathered tone with more pronounced gaps, and the difference will set the scene in motion at once. Slide a thin wedge under one of the crates so that it does not stand perfectly level. Let grass or dust grow over the lower edge here and there, so that the part grows into the groundwork instead of looking merely set down.
