This is a resin detail set, not a standalone model of an aircraft. The set from Laci holds faithfully cast landing flaps for the wing, which replace the simplified parts from the base kit and let the flaps be shown in the extended position.
By replacing the plastic flaps with resin parts a model gains finer leading and trailing edges and more realistic texture. The set is meant for plastic models of the L-410 UVP Turbolet turboprop airliner in 1:72 scale.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts in lukewarm soapy water. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a knife and clean the surfaces up with abrasive paper, with respiratory protection. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); before painting we recommend laying on a filler primer.
