The Fieseler Fi 156 Storch was a German liaison and observation aircraft with a high wing, fixed landing gear with long travel and extensively glazed cabin. It became famous for its short take-off and landing: fixed slats along the whole span and large flaps let it operate from a meadow or a farm track, and against a stronger wind it almost came to a halt in the air. It flew liaison missions, artillery observation, casualty evacuation and the transport of staff officers.

How many complete sets of markings are on the sheet and which particular machines they belong to are stated in the manufacturer's enclosure; follow it when placing the individual elements as well.
Trim an element close to the edge of the printing, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it stand until it can be moved on the backing paper. The base has to be smooth and glossy, or a silvery haze will appear under the film. Blot the excess water away with absorbent paper and pull the decal down over raised shapes and riveting with a softener. Once dry, coat the surface with a matte or semi-gloss varnish, which sinks the edges of the film into the surface.
The aircraft kit, paints, varnish and a softener are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
