Responsibility details are not available.
A card model (a cut-out paper model) of the Polish light bomber and reconnaissance aircraft PZL-23 Karas in the classic paper scale of 1:33 from the publisher Gomix Fly Model. It is not a plastic model: the kit consists of sheets printed in color, from which the parts are cut out and glued.
The PZL-23 Karas was a Polish single-engine low-wing monoplane of the middle of the 1930s, intended for light bombing and reconnaissance. The crew of three sat under a glazed cabin, and under the fuselage was the characteristic gun gondola of the observer. In September 1939 these machines formed the backbone of the bomber and reconnaissance units of the Polish Air Force, and despite being obsolete they were sent against the advancing units. For anyone interested in Polish aviation of the interwar period it is one of the most significant subjects there is.
Cut the parts out with a sharp modeling knife or good scissors, and before gluing shape them over the edge of a table or over a dowel. Use PVA glue applied in a thin layer, so that the paper does not ripple. It pays to back the load-bearing parts of the fuselage with stiffer cardboard, and to retouch the edges of the parts with watercolors or a pencil in the shade of the printing. The model is printed in color, so it does not have to be painted; clean and patient work is enough.
The kit is supplied as printed sheets to be cut out and glued. Glue and other aids are not included in the package.
