1:35 Wiking No. 5 - the 5. SS Wiking in the Caucasus 1942 to 1943 are water-slide decals for models of German Panzer III tanks.
Responsibility details are not available.
Water-slide decals in 1:35 scale from Star Decals. The sheet is devoted to the 5. SS Wiking division during the fighting in the Caucasus in 1942 and 1943 and offers markings for Panzer III Ausf J tanks with the short as well as the long gun and for the Panzer III Ausf N, rounded out with generic turret numbers 0 to 5.
The Panzer III was the backbone of the German tank formations in the first half of the war, with the Ausf N version with the short 75mm barrel serving for fire support. The fighting in the Caucasus was among the most demanding operations of the Eastern Front. The set holds divisional insignia, tactical symbols and a set of turret numbers, so a particular machine as well as a numbering of your own can be put together.
Apply the decals onto gloss varnish and use a softener, so that the design seats onto the edges of the turret and the superstructure. Once dry, go over them with a matte varnish and add dust effects matching mountain and steppe terrain.
This is a sheet of decals on its own. The model, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
