The sheet War In Ukraine 15 - Ukrainian Tanks And AFV Insignias (II) in 1:35 scale holds Ukrainian tactical insignia seen on hardware in the years 2022 and 2023.
Responsibility details are not available.
The fifteenth part of the series is not tied to a single type of vehicle. It holds Ukrainian tactical insignia and recognition symbols documented on tanks and armored vehicles in the years 2022 and 2023, and that as a continuation of an earlier sheet.
Recognition markings change fast in present-day conflicts and tend to be improvised. Combinations of stripes, geometric figures, numbers and unit insignia were painted straight in the field. For a modeler that means one sheet of insignia can be used on a whole range of different machines, from tanks through infantry fighting vehicles to wheeled carriers. Because the markings are not tied to a single reference, they suit finishing off vehicles for which no decal sets of their own are made.
Pick the insignia according to the particular photograph you are building from and keep the rest in reserve. Because they were painted by hand in the field, they will take even slightly irregular placement and lightly damaged edges. Smooth heavily broken-up areas with varnish first, otherwise thin stripes will break. Once dry, consider fine sanding, which creates the impression of paint applied with a spray. Store unused insignia in the dry and out of direct sunlight.
