Star Decals 1:35 War in Ukraine No. 17 - the Cossack T-80BV of the Donetsk Republic is a set of water-slide decals with the markings of Russian and pro-Russian T-80BV tanks of 2022 to 2023.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of water-slide decals in 1:35 scale from Star Decals from the series devoted to the war in Ukraine. The set offers tactical signs, numbers and lettering for T-80BV tanks committed by a Cossack unit in the period 2022 to 2023. It is neither a kit nor a part of a vehicle, but an addition with markings for models of the T-80BV tank.
The T-80BV is the modernized version of the Soviet and Russian gas turbine powered T-80 tank, fitted with explosive reactive armor. Vehicles committed at the front carried improvised as well as unit designations, tactical insignia and lettering typical of 2022 to 2023. It is precisely these details that give a model an authentic period character.
Cut the decal out, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and, once it has released, slide it onto a smooth surface finished with gloss varnish. Adjust the position with a brush and soak the water up. For adhesion onto busy areas and explosive reactive armor use a decal softener, and finally fix everything with a coat of varnish in the degree of gloss you want.
This is an addition with markings. The model of the tank, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package.
