The set War In Ukraine 20 - Russian BMP-2 In 2022-23 in 1:35 scale is devoted to the markings of Russian BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
The twentieth part of the Ukrainian series is devoted to a single type, namely the BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicle in Russian service. Star Decals has worked it out in 1:35 scale as an addition for finishing a model.
The BMP-2 type replaced the older machine with a short-barreled gun in service and brought a two-man turret with a 30mm automatic cannon, which manages firing at air targets as well. The hull is welded, amphibious and carries the crew along with a complement of riflemen. The vehicle came into being in large numbers and in many countries, so it appears to this day in the most varied modifications including slat armor and covers added afterwards. The markings from this sheet are, according to the name, tied to machines from the period of 2022 and 2023.
The narrow turret of the vehicle offers little flat area, so plan out in advance where each insignia will go. Onto the slopes of the frontal armor apply the markings from the top, so that the water runs off away from a design already seated. If you are rounding the model out with slat armor, place the decals before you fit the structure. Dust looks most natural concentrated around the running gear and in the vicinity of the exhaust. A number of machines moreover were given additional protection, which covers part of the marked areas.
