The films are stuck onto the areas of the optics and the vision ports, where they replace bland molded parts or painting. The holographic structure changes shade with the angle of view, so that the glass looks like real coated lenses. First clean and degrease the base. Cut the features out with a sharp knife, lift them off with tweezers and press them into place; adjust the position while the film has not yet bonded firmly.
