According to the name the package contains ten drums of two hundred liters in the shape variant designated as type 1, and in 1:43 scale. It is not a kit of a car or of any machine, but small equipment with which a setting is built around a finished model.
The 200 liter drum belongs among the objects you will find almost anywhere work is done with a machine: in the yard of a workshop, by a dispensing pump, in a garage and on the bed of a truck. Ten pieces in one package are enough for a whole group. Stand some of the drums on their ends, lay others on their sides and line the rest up along a wall. It is exactly the repetition of the same object in different positions that gives a scene the credibility that a vehicle on its own never has.
Drums need a primer; only over that does the covering shade hold evenly. Choose the base color according to the role the drum is to play in the scene: a company blue, an oily green, a military khaki and a plain gray all look equally convincing in 1:43. The boundary between clean paint and dirt shows most on the top rim and on the reinforcing hoops, where the body gets rubbed. A matte varnish at the end will unify the surface of the whole group.
