You are not buying the holder, but its replaceable head: a magnetic cap that is fitted to the GripX R360 rotating holder in place of the existing one. According to the name this is one piece. PLUTON makes its modeling accessories by 3D printing.

What it is good for

The holder on its own can do one thing: carry one figure. As soon as you have several caps, the way you work changes. You prepare a different figure on each and simply swap them over while painting, so you do not have to wait for one to dry. It works equally well when building dioramas, where you paint several figures in the same shade one after another. Magnetic mounting also holds a figure in unusual positions, so you can reach under edges and into places you would otherwise get to the long way round.

What to think about before buying

The cap is made specifically for the R360 model, not for every holder on the market; if you are not sure which variant you have, compare the shape of the head. The accessory is part of the working equipment and is not mounted on a model in any way. The dimensions, the strength of the magnet and the material used are stated by the manufacturer on the packaging.
