A dipping ink in a saturated purple register. It is applied generously, runs into the recesses and engraved lines by itself and darkens the shadow there, while on the raised areas only a fainter veil of color remains. The volume of the package is 17 ml.

When a shade is to add saturation, not only shadow

Unlike the restrained tones of this family, with a saturated purple it is mainly about color. Over a pink or magenta base it strengthens the saturation and the surface gains a deeper, more opulent character. Over a light purple base it deepens the shadow and keeps the whole monochrome. Over white or light gray the shade comes out strongest, because a light base does not reduce the saturation. Over a brown or olive area, on the contrary, the purple goes gray and mainly the darkening remains. Anyone who wants the color really to be seen should therefore start from a light and clean base.

Use

• Stir the contents of the bottle before work.
• Apply generously, so that the paint runs into the recesses.
• A light and clean base gives the most saturated result.
• Build up the saturation by dipping again.
• Try the shade in a less visible place.
