Small accessories for models of aircraft that have bracing cables or wires between the wings and the fuselage. On the real machine the turnbuckle was a screw coupling with which the cable was tightened; the anchor part is the place where the cable ended in the structure. The set offers both together in the type B form, that is in the second of the forms in this line.
The bracing is the most conspicuous detail on a biplane, and yet a kit usually deals with it by means of nothing but shallow relief on the wing. The modeler stretches the cable from filament or thin wire themselves, but the finished turnbuckles and anchors have to be got hold of separately. It is precisely this part that the line covers, and it does so in both of its forms.
For builders of biplanes and aircraft with external bracing who want the bracing to look like bracing and not like a stretched thread. The work calls for tweezers and good light.
