3D-printed Soviet hand grenades of the period of the Second World War in 1:35 scale, 58 pieces are a supplementary armament set for dioramas, interiors and figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
This supplementary set from the manufacturer LIANG Model brings, according to the name, 58 pieces of Soviet hand grenades of the period of the Second World War, produced by 3D printing. It is neither a model nor a kit but small equipment with which a scene is brought to a convincing state. A 1:35 scale is the most widespread size for military equipment and figures, so the set will suit the vast majority of armored vehicles and vignettes in that size.
The high number of pieces makes it a reserve rather than a one-off accessory. Some of the parts usually end up in the open fighting compartment of a vehicle, more with the figures and the rest on the ground, in boxes or in an improvised stowage on a fender. It is precisely such small items that give a diorama its scale: the viewer compares them with the size of the vehicle and thanks to them the scene comes across as inhabited rather than empty.
Cut the parts off the carrier structure with a sharp scalpel, level the remains of the supports with a fine file and degrease the surface. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue, ideally the gel kind, because with parts this small you have more time to settle them. Apply a thin primer before painting. Set the shade of the body and of the handle apart, and at the end use a dark wash and a light dry brush, so that the shape stands out. Protect your airways when sanding printed materials.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
