The fourth number of the numbered marching range of Dynamo-Models in 1:35 scale. This is a figure, not a vehicle kit, and it is meant to complete a finished model or to build up a scene. The higher the number of the range, the more ways there are to put a column together without repeating the same stance.
The image of marching infantry belongs to the French campaign just as inseparably as armored vehicles do. The units moved over long distances on foot, often in heat and dust, and the fatigue showed on the soldiers. That is exactly what is interesting from a modeling point of view: a marching figure is not meant to be a heroic pose but a record of an ordinary day of field service. A scene with a column therefore usually tells more than a scene with a single dramatically posed figure.
In a marching scene the patina is the main means of conveying fatigue and distance. Apply the dust from the bottom and let it weaken upward - never evenly over the whole figure. On the hem of the greatcoat and on the boots it can be noticeably denser, and on the shoulders almost absent. Suggest sweat and rubbing with a darker tone under the straps and in the places where the equipment presses on the cloth. Leave the metal accessories matte; a sheen in this scale is distracting. Always derive the shades of the dust from the color of the base the figure will stand on.
