An injection-molded plastic kit of the German 8.8 cm Raketenwerfer 43 anti-tank rocket launcher, nicknamed Püppchen, in 1:35 scale from Dragon. The set contains the weapon on a two-wheeled carriage, photo-etched parts and figures of German paratroopers. It offers an attractive combination of a weapon and figures, suitable for smaller diorama scenes.
The Raketenwerfer 43 Püppchen was a German light 8.8 cm anti-tank rocket launcher introduced during the Second World War. It fired rockets with a shaped-charge warhead and in its basic form sat on a small two-wheeled carriage, so its crew could move it easily. The nickname Püppchen means little doll. The enclosed figures represent German paratroopers, the Fallschirmjäger.
Pay attention to the fine parts of the carriage and the barrel and to a clean assembly of the photo-etched parts, which you glue with cyanoacrylate glue; join the plastic with liquid modeling cement. Lay the paint on the weapon and the figures with an airbrush or a brush over a primer and add washes. Work the figures up with uniform shades and flesh tones, so that the scene looks lively.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
