A resin gun barrel with a canvas cover at its base in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART. This is not a model of the tank but a detailed replacement barrel for the gun of the German Pz. 38(t) light tank. The canvas at the base of the barrel reproduces the field cover over the gun mantlet.
The Pz. 38(t) grew out of the Czechoslovak LT vz. 38 light tank and the Wehrmacht committed it on a large scale at the beginning of the Second World War. It was armed with a gun of smaller caliber and a number of machine guns; its reliable chassis became the basis of many further vehicles. Covering the base of the barrel with a canvas was common in the field.
Wash the resin barrel free of release agent, cut off the casting block and sand it lightly with respiratory protection. Glue it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Unify the barrel with a primer and a fine metal shade, undercoat the canvas and lift the folds; washes and pigments will add a dusty touch.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
