The plastic figure set Allied Force (ETO 1944) from Dragon in 1:35 scale: Allied soldiers in the European theater in 1944.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic figure set from Dragon in 1:35 scale captures Allied soldiers in the European Theater of Operations (ETO) in 1944. The group consists of American infantrymen and a British Royal Marine Commando, who together represent the Allied forces after the landings in Normandy. The figures are caught in natural poses, with period uniforms, kit and weapons matching the real subject. It is a figure kit to be assembled and painted, not a finished model.
The abbreviation ETO stands for the European theater of the Second World War. From 6 June 1944 more than three million Allied soldiers, Americans, British and Canadians, landed in Normandy and, against strong resistance, built the beachhead from which the liberation of western Europe began. The set brings soldiers of different Allied armies together into a single scene.
Separate the parts from the sprue and clean up the mold seams. Glue with polystyrene cement or with cyanoacrylate. The figures are best painted in parts before final assembly; the different uniforms of the American and British soldiers offer a varied color composition. Deepen the faces and the shadows in the fabric with oils and drybrushing, and unify the weapons with a matte shade.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
