This is a resin accessory, not a model. The set contains ammunition boxes for the British 25-pounder gun in two patterns – for high-explosive (HE) and for anti-tank (AT) rounds. You can use them as loose equipment for models and dioramas of British and Allied artillery positions.
Boxes of ammunition are a rewarding detail both for an artillery setting and for cargo. The resin castings have crisp edges, sheet-metal and wooden profiles, metal fittings and lettering in a faithful form, which livens up both the surroundings of a gun and a loaded vehicle.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks away and clean the surfaces up. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and sand resin with respiratory protection. The boxes stand out once the edges, the scuffs and the weathering have been brought out.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
