The set brings ten scale models of the anti-personnel mine designated MON-50, done in 1:35 scale. It serves as diorama equipment: it suits a transport crate, the stores on an engineer squad's bunk, a warehouse rack, or part of a load that has its place on a vehicle or a trailer.
A scene in 1:35 lives on what lies around the main model. An empty area beside a vehicle looks unfinished, whereas a few objects placed with thought give the scene depth and tell the viewer what kind of unit and what kind of situation it is. Equipment of this sort has the further advantage that you can work the composition with it - it leads the eye where you want it.
Cut the pieces from the carrier with a sharp blade run along its edge and level the rest of the gate with a small file. Washing in lukewarm water before painting always pays off. Lay the primer on in the thinnest coat you can, because a thick coat fills the edges on objects this small. Keep the shades in a muted olive and gray-green range, and build contrast with a dark wash in the recesses rather than with a light dry brush, which quickly overdoes it on a small surface.
The parts come unpainted; glue and paints are not included.
