The M113 is an American tracked armored personnel carrier with an aluminum hull that saw dozens of derived forms. The Australian army used it for decades and modified it to suit its own needs; the form designated ALV is one such modification. Check the closer description of its equipment against your references for the real subject, because the name does not give it.
According to the name this is an extended variant of the conversion, that is a larger range of parts than in the basic version of the set. It is meant for the kit from the Tamiya company, which the name states. The conversion does not replace a kit but changes part of it, so work on the original parts is to be expected. The manufacturer's instructions give the exact contents and the number of parts.
With a more extensive conversion it pays to assemble the whole kit dry first and to offer the new parts up to it, and only then to start cutting. Make the cut rather further from the target line and sand down to size. Cut the excess material off a little way from the part with a sharp blade and sand the surface. Before painting, wash and degrease all the parts, including the surfaces on the kit you touched while sanding. The manufacturer's instructions give the right glue and the surface preparation.
